About The Opportunity

A company where no two days are ever the same, Story Fresh is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team in Cambooya, South East Queensland, on a full-time basis. 

Reporting to the Senior Automation Engineer, you will work alongside the production team to optimise facility performance and contribute to the continued growth and success of this rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Conduct routine maintenance on a diverse range of process machinery and plant
• Provide rapid response and effective problem-solving for breakdowns
• Take a lead role in continuous improvement initiatives, upgrades, and installations
• Assist in the development, repair, and monitoring of a wide range of systems in the new facility
• Lead in the selection and integration of future equipment
• Drive continuous improvement in all processes and contribute to the implementation of new installations

The right candidate will be offered extensive training in Story Fresh's products and processes to develop towards greater responsibilities and operational decision-making.

This role is suited to a dedicated and passionate individual who embraces early starts and is open to occasional out-of-hours work to meet the dynamic needs of our contingent staffing requirements.

About You

To qualify, you will need a minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering degree, in robotics or mechatronics or a relevant field, and at least 3 years of factory/floor engineering experience.
